"Game of Thrones" Microphone
We got to experience this mic for the first time in a live environment at MxU in Chicago. It was happily used by Andrew Stone and commented on by Lee Fields as the "Game of Thrones" mic. It sounds as good as it looks. In typical Earthworks fashion, they were able to get the flattest response throughout the entire cardioid polar pattern. This is obviously a condenser, but it is one of the largest diaphragms we've seen from EW. Stainless steel of course, it can survive the toughest live condition while holding it's own on a loud stage.
